•Taiwan, the self-ruled island that China considers a renegade province, has found an opportunity to raise its global profile: by supplying virus-hit nations with masks and other equipment and sharing with the world its know-how on containing the pandemic.
As a part of this they will be donating 10 million face masks, President Tsai Ing-wen said last week, mostly to European nations including Italy and Spain.(TOI)
